Code of Conduct:
a. Offensive Expression: Avoid expressing yourselves in an offensive manner toward staff or other guests. All guests and participants in Waypoint Lounge-hosted competitions must display proper behavior.
b. Offensive Language: Avoid using language or slurs, or other expressions that insult another person’s gender, gender identity, origin, physical ability, sexual orientation, religion or age.
c. Team Dynamic: Always support your teammates in-game, communicating positively and with respect.
d. Violent Language/Actions: Language or actions that imply violence or any harmful actions will not be tolerated.
e. Cheating: Cheating of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to scripting, map/vision hacks, aimbots and stream sniping.
f. Harassment: You may not harass other guests, team members, or other associated parties.
g. Weapons: Guns, knives, bows, and other weaponry are NOT allowed inside of the Waypoint. If you are found to have weaponry on you, you will be asked to
leave the premises or put the weapon. Non-functional cosplay items will be allowed on a case-by-case basis.
h. Drugs: Drugs, including, but not limited to, tobacco, cannabis, vapes, hookahs, etc, are NOT allowed in the Waypoint. If you are caught using it, you will be asked to leave to put it away or leave the premises. Tobacco can be used in the parking lot.
i. Cleanliness: Guests are expected to maintain a common standard of cleanliness in the facility. Those emitting offensive odors and smells will be asked to cover it up, via cologne, deodorant, etc.
j. Sexual Harassment: Sexual harassment of any players, guests, or Waypoint Lounge staff will not be tolerated.
k. Discrimination and Denigration: You may not offend the dignity or integrity of a country, private person, or group of people through contemptuous, discriminatory, or denigratory words or actions.
l. Account Suspension: A game account suspension for any reason will disqualify you from participation in any Waypoint Lounge-hosted tournament for said game while the account is suspended.
m. Inappropriate Content: Inappropriate content, including, but not limited to, porn, NSFW, gore, and other content that is considered offensive is not allowed and guests will be asked to close said content if found. If guests continue to use said content, they will be asked to leave
n. Smurfing
i. Smurfing will not be tolerated. This is a venue to foster competition in a close community.
i. If a player is suspected of smurfing by staff, they will be suspended from the event until an investigation of the account is thoroughly completed.
ii. If a player is found to be smurfing, they and their team will be disqualified from the tournament and may face a permanent ban from all Waypoint Lounge events.
iii. Purposefully de-ranking an account to qualify for a tournament will count as smurfing.
o. General: Waypoint Lounge reserves the right to remove guests from the venue for any of the above reasons. In the case of a disruption that is not currently covered in the rules, Waypoint Lounge staff reserves the right to arbitrate disruptions and levy consequences. These rules apply to all methods of communication, whether public or private. These rules apply to all participants and staff of Waypoint Lounge as well.
